Terms and Conditions of Sale

The Terms and Conditions set out below apply to all transactions on the Erin’s Chair website. Please read through these carefully before placing your order. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any orders received subsequent to the Terms and Conditions change.

Prices

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order, the prices are exclusive of UK VAT as appropriate. Errors and Omissions are excluded, i.e. we reserve the right not to send an item if we make a pricing error, in this event we will inform you of this as soon as we possibly can.

Purchase and Delivery

To purchase from us you must be over 18 years of age. We seek to complete all UK orders within 7-10 working days. Purchases made from outside of the UK will be sought to complete within 7-28 days (this is dependent on the delivery location).

Payment will be taken on fulfilment of checkout of online sale of goods.

However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to circumstances beyond our control. If you have not received the goods within 28 days of expected delivery, then you will be notified by email or phone and given the opportunity to cancel the contract. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as we possibly can via email or phone.

Delivery Costs

Orders are sold excluding postage, therefore please read our delivery charges. Chairs will be sent by Parcelforce. If required, items can be sent on a next day basis at extra cost this will be charged at current Royal Mail postage rates for Monday to Friday delivery, Saturday delivery if required has an additional charge. Delivery Times

Standard UK despatch from ordering will be within 7-10 working days. Items sent are not considered ‘lost’ until 14 working days after despatch. Where applicable parcel tracking details will be emailed to you on despatch.

Payment

We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you. If we have reason to suspect that your details have been obtained fraudulently from us, we will endeavour to let you know as soon as we can.
Please note our credit card system will charge your card before your order is despatched. This secures your order on our system and allows our system to go through its fraud screening processes. 

Returns and Refunds

We will honour your right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000). You have 7 days in which to notify us that you wish to cancel, and the 7 days commences the day after receipt of the goods. This is your statutory ‘cooling off period’. You may notify us of your cancellation by email.

You are responsible for returning the goods to us and the cost of so doing. Email Erin’s Chair for a Returns address. It is your statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in your care and while returning them, return them with all the packaging. We require all goods to be returned within 14 days of your notification of cancellation.

If a product does not perform to your satisfaction or has a defect then you can send it back to us for evaluation. The product may be sent directly to Erin’s Chair (email us for the returns address).

To process a claim we require:

·  The original invoice/receipt number and date of purchase

·  Your name, address and daytime contact telephone number or e-mail address

·  Details of the defect or fault

Erin’s Chair does not cover normal wear, or damage resulting from abuse, alteration or unauthorised repair. All products must be clean and dry before being sent back. Please allow up to 21 days for items to be returned. 

Erin’s Chair does not take responsibility for items lost in transit to us, therefore, we recommend all items returned by recorded delivery.

Unwanted Goods

Within 14 days these can be returned for a full refund for any reason, the goods must be returned with the original packaging (tote bag), and in an unused condition.

All returned items must be sent by recorded post, Special Delivery or Courier. The cost of returning items is the responsibility of the customer, there are some exceptions, please email for details. You should always contact us if you are unsure if you can return an item to us. Returns must be accompanied by a copy of the receipt so we can process it ASAP.

Faulty Goods

If you think your goods are faulty, you must email Trail Trainer Limited to discuss the fault. We may ask for you to email a photo of the fault. If your goods are considered faulty, we will issue you with Freepost details or arrange a collection with you.

Items Faulty / Incomplete on Arrival

If your items are faulty or incomplete on arrival, you have 7 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we’ll issue a replacement to you or if it is no longer available, offer a suitable alternative. We check returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty, we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.

Law

The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.

Data Protection

The Data Protection Act 1998 applies. You may email the data controller at Erin’s Chair, in order to query what data is held about you.

Complaints

We take complaints very seriously. If you feel that we really have fallen short of your expectations, please mail us on at the email below and we will respond within 7 days.
